So select resort wear in subdued neutrals, if thats your style. Salwar kameez, anarkalis are very event appropriate in Indian society. Its gives girly, fun vibe and at the same time gives a womanly feel. You can dress it up or dress it down and it totally says a New bride :) Again try to incorporate as many colors and styles as possible, see what suits your silhouette. If you are tall you can go for longer anarkalis, if you are short you can opt for the shorter ones. If you are tall you can get away with patialas or churidaars with any length of top but if you are short be careful when pairing up your churidars with very long kurta , you might wanna go for short ones.
